A boy and his dog?
A classic combination.
You did not write a description of who and where.
I would have loved to see more of the horizon, less sky.
But perhaps the shot was taken quickly to capture the dogs inquisitive look and the boys smile.
I like the composition of this, but, again, it lacks background.
Some might say the focus is on the subjects. But I think more background wouldn't have taken anything away from them!
Also, their faves are a bit dark. Again, perhaps the quickness of the shot was the cause. That and the cloudy day.

Overall? A charming shot. One which I quickly faved!
